Mediterranean Fever

Waleed (40) lives in Haifa with his wife and children and dreams of a writing career while suffering from chronic depression. He develops a close relationship with his neighbor (a small-time crook) with an ulterior plot in mind. His scheme ultimately leads to the formation of an unexpected friendship.

QUIDNUNC

A mentally ill Melanie is determined to end her life whilst staying in a desolate hotel. A woman’s cry for help from the room next door prompts Melanie to pause her suicide plan and investigate the disturbance. During her psychotic journey, Melanie will come face to face with her biggest foe for one last showdown.
Shot in one take, the voyeuristic narrative will oscillate from Melanie’s room to the room next door slowly prying loose the secrets of each occupant.

RITES OF SPRING

Travelling theatre troupes with their pagan roots and Christian Orthodox tradition are two seemingly opposite worlds, both mysterious and both enchanting to the author. Using abstract forms, inspiration from printmaking and folk art the film expresses the emotional and visual impact of a beautiful but disappearing world.

A JAR OF NUTS

Isolated in his apartment, the lonely forty-year old Giorgos meticulously devises an intricate plan to take his life after his beloved mother chokes to death on a pistachio. As the day progresses, Giorgos allows excuses, obstacles and people to hinder his final deadly leap from the balcony, completely oblivious to the true reason behind all his stalling.

Snow White Dies at the End

Shown through three different threads, the film is a tale of three groups of humans, one fly, one piglet, one toilet bowl and one city, whose paths cross and impact one another. A story about how tremendously difficult it is to remain honest and true to your own values in a morally corrupt environment.

‘Africa Star’ follows the story of three women in three different generations. Starting in 2008, Christina searches for answers regarding her family’s past, as the stories of the previous generations in 1966 and 1945 unfold and reveal unexpected facts.
